If you are interested in “grounding” I would highly suggest reading up on the studies about it, especially the information from Clint Ober who is essentially the person who came up with the concept of grounding back in the 1990s. He worked for a telecommunications company and was responsible for grounding all of the systems. One day he saw people walking around, all wearing rubber soled shoes and he came to the conclusion that modern human beings are not often in contact with the earth’s electrical field due to our modern day lifestyle. He hypothesized that since we are often wearing rubber soled shoes when walking outside all day and then stuck inside our homes at night, our own electricity is out of balance. This causes all kinds of health problems, fatigue, stress, disease, etc. Human beings needs to touch the ground and connect to the steady stream of negative electrons that cancel out positively charged free radicals in our body. One way to do this is to use a grounding mat, sheet, or pillowcase.I have been using a grounding mat for about 4 weeks and have already noticed significant changes.
